What is the Community
Foundation of Carroll County?
The Community
Foundation of Carroll County (CFCC) is a
charitable public foundation,
established by community stakeholders
throughout Carroll County, Iowa. The
purpose of the foundation is to improve
the quality of life in Carroll County
and the surrounding a rea by initiating
programs, coordinating resources, and

and advance the civic, social, cultural,
recreational, and artistic life of our
citizens.
How can the Community
Foundation of Carroll County help you?
The CFCC can help
potential donors to discover their
philanthropic goals. The CFCC provides
convenient and flexible giving vehicles
to serve donors. The CFCC embodies a
simple concept: People working together
can make a difference. For good. For
ever.
The CFCC carries out its mission by
building permanent endowments as
charitable capital for the community;
maintaining high professional standards
in the investment and management of the
funds entrusted to the Foundation; and
promoting effective and efficient grant
making to serve current and future
needs.
The Iowa legislature has initiated a
program called Endow Iowa to spread a
portion of Iowa's gambling revenue
across the state. These funds are
directed to area Community Foundations
to distribute to worthy causes as they
see fit. The CFCC will award grants with
these funds each year. |
